Inexplicável...
... é o facto de apesar de todo o dinheiro gasto com as ETAR´s o Nosso amado Rio Ave continuar poluído daquela forma...
Não há razões para tal...Se as ETAR´s estão a funcionar há já uns anitos porque razão o Rio continua tão poluído?
Talvez porque as Empresas continuam a despejar tudo para lá...Onde anda a fiscalização deste País?
Depois de gastar tanto dinheiro com as Estações de Tratamento ( e não estou a dizer que foi mal gasto ) deveria existir uma maior fiscalização nas margens do Rio.De outra forma deixa de ser lógico o investimento feito. ( e não deve ter sido muito pequeno )
Serão os interesses instalados pelas Empresas nas Autarquias mais importantes para o bem do País do que a qualidade de vida dos que pagam os seus impostos ?
Eu ainda sonho com o dia em que vou poder passear nas margens do Rio Ave com os meus filhos e ver um Rio limpo e despoluído.
Mas para que isso aconteça temos que sair dos nossos sofás e dar o corpo à luta.Se nos unirmos concerteza algo será feito.

Parabéns pelo blog. Não sou do Norte e não conheço o Rio Ave, mas deveria ser um belo rio qd era limpo. Aqui no Ribatejo, infelizmente, também há mts casos desses. Uma vergonha. Na cidade onde nasci corre o Almonda que depois de construidas ETARs ficou bastante mais limpo e com peixes, mas após a cidade de Torres Novas o rio parece um esgoto, até fico triste de ver. Outro caso é o rio Alviela que continua a ser um esgoto a céu aberto assim que vem o Verão. Assim está o nosso País ...

Eu trabalho na despoluição do Vale do Ave, um trabalho prestigiado para quem possuí um coração verde.
É pena a sua situação actual...
Apenas existe uma altura em que podemos ver o rio despoluído! Entre os dias 10 e 28 de Agosto do presente ano, os principais focos de poluição existentes fecham para férias, é claro que estou a falar das grandes tinturarias do sector têxtil. Nessa altura, garanto, a todos os interessados, que o rio estará com outra "cara". é uma opurtunidade única!
Nos próxomos 4 anos estão a ser feitas obras de enorme envergadura,que parece muito tempo. Nessa fase, terminadas as obras das infra-estruturas de despoluição, só é nesessária a colaboração de todos.

Vejo que os comentarios sobre o Rio Ave já são de 2004 mas queria dizer-lhes que este rio continua tão poluído como nessa altura, sou de Braga mas passo no Rio Ave todos os dias a caminho de Guimaraes e a única iniciativa que presenciei foi de bombeiros com alguns populares a tentar limpar algum lixo por ali acumulado.
